Woman arrested in Mayor Rob Ford’s SUV in court
The woman arrested in Mayor Rob Ford’s SUV in May says she doesn’t “have any urge to contact” the mayor.
LeeAnne McRobb, 36, on Tuesday was ordered back to court Sept. 23 to answer to one count of impaired driving and one count of operating a motor vehicle with blood alcohol content in excess of 80 mg.
“She wants to speak to a lawyer about something,” duty counsel said in court.
Neither her own lawyer, Michael Rombis, nor his paralegal, Ivon Fournier, were in court on her behalf.
McRobb was charged on May 20 when she was pulled over near GreeneStone rehab clinic in Muskoka where she and Ford were both patients at the time.
